FreshAWL® GREASE-Free™ is a biodegradable multi-purpose degreaser, cleaner and deodorizer.
Free of enzymes, it is primarily designed for use as a general purpose surface natural cleaner for indoor and outdoor surfaces, but may also be used in its concentrated form, for drain maintenance to keep them clear of clogging fats and oils.
Its citrus extracts make GREASE-Free a non-caustic cleaner, degreaser, and deodorizer. This multi-purpose formulation is used to remove soils such as oils, tar, grease, crayon, lipstick, and rubber tire marks which are normally removed by high pH cleaners or dangerous solvents.
GREASE-Free breaks down fats and greases:
- GREASE-Free literally dissolves into the fat layers releasing them from bonding together.
- GREASE-Free also breaks up the inter-molecular adhesions between proteins and fats thus eliminating the “bathtub ring" caused by greasy soaps and oils around drain walls and traps.
- The active elements in GREASE-Free also enable extremely effective odor control.

- SAFETY – GREASE-Free is GRAS certified, enzyme free, and non-toxic. Our solutions are so safe that they do not require special handling in accordance with OSHA or DOT guidelines;

- TOXICITY − FreshAWL products are synthesized from ingredients which are safe for use in food and food adjutants. Aquatic toxicity is low; LC-50/96 for juvenile rainbow trout is 100 ppm. At use levels, non-toxic;
- CORROSIVITY – GREASE-Free is an isotonic balanced solution with the pH of concrete. It is non-corrosive to wastewater piping systems, and owing to its ability for hydrogen sulfide elimination, system and infrastructure corrosion are abated; and
- BIODEGRADATION – GREASE-Free is biodegradable under anaerobic conditions and its post-treatment residual is methane, carbon dioxide, and water. This virtually prevents the formation of solids, salts producing EC (Electrical Conductivity), or nitrates.
